A multicultural team of herbalists, health promoters, nurses, and doctors advance community and environmental health, integrating indigenous healing with modern healthcare at health centers and homes in Comcaac villages of Punta Chueca and Desemboque.

Comcaac healers apply ancestral knowledge of desert and sea plants, and native foods to promote health to effectively address emerging and new diseases such as diabetes and Covid-19.
